Let Our Voices Rise and Be Heard!
Connecting Americans; rebuilding the vision.
As Americans we have finally found a candidate for President who is speaking for us. That candidate is Congressman Ron Paul. Ron Paul is America's candidate, the one who knows that we the people can do it ourselves. So we are doing just that.
The Freedom Ride lets all of us tell our stories so we can understand what has happened and change things. Americans are a strong and innovative people. The answers are out there; We just need to find and share those answers.
The Freedom Ride is our mobile communications HQ. The RV came from Linda Hunnicutt, an activist from North Carolina. She heard about Ron Paul and decided she was going to get him elected president.
When Freedom rolls into your town you can tell your story to people all across the country; the media will sit up and take notice and understand why Ron Paul is the right man for the job. America is about ordinary people, about families, and about making things work. The Solution Resource is how we find solutions, helping each other. Americans are great at finding solutions to problems they face, what is needed is a way to share those solutions freely.
Across the country people are losing their jobs and businesses, finding themselves marginalized economically and encountering restrictions and abusive behavior from corporations and government that none of us could have believed possible. Each of us has our part of the larger story that explains what is happening. Freedom Ride will gather our powerful stories so everyone can see the truth and work locally to make things better. The truth and cooperation make action possible.
The Freedom Wagon will provide ongoing streaming of video and photos telling the stories of people and events as they occur. This is the voice of the people.
Ron Paul will ride Freedom in New Hampshire. This is important because politics in New Hampshire is the way it used to be when America was young. Then, the people were in control. With Ron Paul they will be again.
Linda began her crusade for justice because local authorities came to her door and tried to force their way into her home and take Buddy, the small monkey she has owned and cared for since he was six weeks old. Linda has spent a good portion of her life as a trainer and caretaker for exotic animals. She was not interested in politics until that moment.
At her own doorstep Linda confronted a swat team and forced them to read the Constitution and Bill of Rights. She did not back down, did not consent to their demand for entry.
Buddy stayed right there because Linda used the words of our founding documents to show them they were acting out side of their authority. Linda's words, and the truth they could not avoid, stopped them. That was all Linda had. The truth.
Afterwards Linda became an activist for freedom; she confronted the forces of PETA who are making war on the freedom of Americans to keep animals and PETA responded by telling lies about her, the same kind of lies you hear about Ron Paul Some of those are still up on the Internet.
Linda has been working for the election of Ron Paul while fighting lung cancer. She continues to fight on all fronts, and will do so, she says, with the last breath in her body. We believe her.

Bette became interested in politics in 1983. Her concern was a neighborhood environmental problem, their recycling plant was in an industrial zone but they were near her residential area .because of the recycling facility processed electrical transformers which contains PCBs the smoke and smells were horrible; the local pigeons were dying. She became worried about the lack of concern showed by those in government and ran for city council, losing by only 55 votes.
Bette remembers fondly working with Robert Kennedy, Jr. in New York before moving to North Carolina in 2005. Bette did the research for the law suits filed by Kennedy on environmental issues.
But now she was involved. She continued to work for responsible government through We the People. We the People then became involved in the pre-screening of the Russo film, Freedom to Fascism and so Bette became involved in getting that film out to Americans.
Bette had found out about Ron Paul, and read his books in the mid 90s. Discovering he was going to run for President she immediately become involved.
Bette is 73 now and determined to leave the world a better place for her grandchildren.
Jay Zietlow is the son of an activist Mom and Dad who fought nuclear weapons and for social justice; he only wanted to be normal, choosing a life which involved him in glass blowing. But he decided when he saw the Towers come down that something was very wrong in America. He made informing Americans his mission and will do so as long as he can.
